Policy Committee
The Policy Committee serves as a common council. Members are called upon by the FEB Chair to establish major goals, review and approve work plans, monitor the progress and evaluate accomplishments, recommend changes in program direction, suggest areas for improvement, and generally make its expertise available when needed.
Emergency Preparedness Council
The Emergency Preparedness Council communicates security information specific to Buffalo Federal agencies. The Council is comprised of civilian, military and law enforcement agencies and determines interagency policy for emergency preparedness among Federal agencies. The Buffalo Federal Executive Board serves 100 Federal Government agencies.
Diversity, Education and Cultural Awareness Committee
Fosters cultural awareness, develops leadership skills, and cultivates the diverse heritage of the government community while promoting equal opportunity and fair treatment for all persons. This committee will work on a vast array of diversity centered projects including Black History Month, Women's History Month, Disability Awareness and other forms of diversity training and cultural celebrations.
Training Working Group
The Training Working Group develops training and information seminars for the Federal community. Examples of this include: Retirement and Benefits seminars, Career Development Training, Safety and Emergency Response Training and Technology Training.
Federal Women's Program Network
The Federal Women’s Program Network assists all levels of the Buffalo Federal Executive Board in creating an environment that is conducive to the recognition, development, promotion, understanding, and utilization of the abilities, skills and knowledge of women in the workforce.
